New Jersey – Teresa and Giuseppe (“Joe”) Giudice, stars of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” have been indicted on fraud related charges. As reported by omg! a 39-count indictment was filed Monday and included counts of conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, bank fraud, and bankruptcy fraud.

Joe, 43, has also been charged with failing to file tax returns for 2004-2008.

U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman, who filed the indictment, is quoted by omg! as saying in a statement, “The indictment returned today alleges the Giudices lied to the bankruptcy court, to the IRS and to a number of banks… Everyone has an obligation to tell the truth when dealing with the courts, paying their taxes and applying for loans or mortgages.
