West Virginia – A West Virginia man faces murder charges on multiple counts after four people were fatally shot early Friday. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Sidney A. Muller, 27, of Harrison County was arrested in Marion County following the shooting in a Clarksburg neighborhood, which occurred around 4:30 a.m.

Two of the victims were a father and son who had reportedly stumbled upon the scene of drug dealing activity that had gotten out of control while delivering newspapers.

Exponent-Telegram President Brian Jarvis is quoted by the AP as saying in a statement of Freddy Donald Swiger, 70, and his son, 47-year-old Fred Swiger, “They were extremely nice, loyal, and cared very deeply about their customers… Their customers cared very deeply about them from the calls already this morning. They built a connection with people that was unique and special in every regard.”
