Actor arrested in New Mexico for drunken driving

Santa Fe, New Mexico – Actor Wes Studi was arrested Friday for drunken driving in New Mexico. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Studi, 66, was at a stop sign with two front tires blown out of the 2005 black Volvo he had been driving when he was arrested for aggravated drunken driving.

A witness reportedly stated that Studi had been trying to “repair the vehicle’s damaged tires in the middle of the road without the vehicle lights on” prior to officers arriving to the scene according to a complaint.

Studi was being held on a $3,000 bond following his arrest Friday.

The actor has appeared in films such as “Geronimo: An American Legend” and “The Last of the Mohicans.”
