New Jersey toddler injures friend after firing gun

New Jersey – A New Jersey toddler reportedly shot his 6-year-old friend, who was afterward stated to be in critical condition. As reported by The Inquisitr, the 4-year-old fired the shot from a loaded rifle he brought out of his family’s home while his parents were outside. The 6-year-old was shot in the head, while sitting in a go-cart, according to neighbors.

Debi Coto, a neighbor in the Toms River community, is quoted in the report as stating of the incident, “It’s really difficult to deal with. This is something that shouldn’t have happened.”

The incident is still under investigation.
