Warren, Ohio – Six teenagers reportedly died in an SUV crash in which the vehicle flipped over and landed in a pond. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the vehicle the teens were traveling in was stolen, and its owners filed a stolen-vehicle report on Monday.

Eight teenagers total were traveling together in the vehicle with the accident occurred; however, two survived, suffering only minor injuries. Speed was stated to have been a factor in the wreck. According to police, none of the teens had been wearing a seatbelt.

As noted in the report, where the teens had been prior to the accident was not yet clear, as well as whether all of them knew the SUV was stolen.

Investigations are still underway.
