Louisville, Kentucky – Two people were killed and one person was injured in a shooting at a Kentucky community college on Tuesday. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the shooting was said to have occurred around 5:30 in the evening in the parking lot of Hazard Community & Technical College.

Two people who claimed to have been involved in the shooting were taken into custody by Hazard police after showing up at the Kentucky State Police post in Hazard. As noted in the report, it was not known at the time of the report whether they were suspected perpetrators or witnesses.

The school was placed on lockdown following the incident while police conducted a campus search.
