Daughter of Bon Jovi singer arrested after purported overdose

New York – The daughter of Jon Bon Jovi was reportedly arrested this week after an alleged drug overdose. As reported by Us Weekly, the singer’s 19-year-old daughter Stephanie, was arrested at Hamilton College early Wednesday after police responded to a call stating she had overdosed and was not responsive. A drug task force reportedly found heroin at the dorm room.

Another student was also purportedly arrested in the incident.

Hamilton College is quoted in the report as saying in a statement regarding the occurrence to Us Weekly, “The college is cooperating with the police investigation. Our first concern is always for the safety of our students. Out of respect for the privacy of our students and in accordance with federal regulations, we do not discuss individual health or disciplinary matters.”

Story Update: The DA in the case announced Thursday that the charges against Stephanie Bongiovi have been dropped.
