Dallas, Texas – The model and fashion blogger who was injured by a propeller after getting off of a plane in Dallas last December recently revealed her new prosthetics on Twitter and discusses her ordeal in a memoir due out this month. As reported by ABC News, Lauren Scruggs, who walked into a moving propeller and underwent intensive physical therapy to recover from her injuries, received prosthetics to replace her left hand and left eye.

Scruggs is quoted by ABC News as stating in her memoir of her changed perception brought on by the experience, “I came to see how there was so much more to my life than being worried about how I looked.”

The book, “Still Lolo: The Inspiring True Story,” will be available for sale Nov. 15.
