Kentucky – A Kentucky woman who was ordered by a judge to delete her Facebook account was sent to jail after failing to comply with the order. As reported by The Sideshow, the woman, Paula Asher, was sentenced by District Judge Mary Jane Phelps to two days in jail for contempt of court.

Asher was charged with a DUI after reportedly causing an accident with four teenagers, and ordered to remove her page on the social networking site after posting a status about the accident that parents of the teens injured in the crash deemed offensive.

Asher is quoted in the report as stating of the matter, “I apologize to everybody…I apologize to the judge. I didn’t mean to hurt anybody…I didn’t think ‘lol’ would put me in jail.”
