Woman denied bond after running over her boyfriend

Atlanta, GA – A woman who stands accused of the death of her boyfriend after running over him with her vehicle has been denied bond. As reported by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Sharees Dennard, 30, appeared in court Tuesday on charges of murder and aggravated assault on connection with the death of Dwight Francis, 31 on Sunday.

Dennard reportedly struck Francis with her vehicle after the two had gotten into an argument, and he either jumped or was thrown out of the car. Investigators believe the act was intentional. Other vehicles are reported to have run over Francis’ body after Dennard hit him.

Fairburn police spokesman Sgt. Anthony Bazydlo is quoted in the report as stating of the incident, “We continue to ask anyone who may have inadvertently struck the body to please contact Fairburn police.” The number provided to call is 770-964-1441.

Dennard is scheduled to appear in court again on June 5.
