School Bus Rollover Accident Seriously Injures 3 Near Quincy

Quincy, WA — A school bus rollover accident seriously injured three children on Monday, March 12, 2012. The school bus accident occurred in the morning hours near Quincy on Highway 281, reported the Sacramento Bee.

The Washington State Patrol reported that the school bus veered off the highway and overcorrected, causing it to roll.

Responding emergency crews airlifted the three seriously injured children to Quincy Valley Hospital for medical treatment.

The school had 38 students and the driver on board at the time of the crash. All of the students were reportedly injured to some extent. Most of the injured were also taken to Quincy Valley Hospital for medical treatment.

The other injuries reportedly consisted of bloody noses, scrapes and bruises.

The bus driver was not injured and no other vehicles were involved.

It is unknown at this time what caused the bus to veer from the roadway.

Investigations are underway.
