Greer, SC—A daycare bus became involved in a collision with a car on Highway 29 (Wade Hampton Boulevard) around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011, Greer Police reported. According to information provided by News Channel 7, three people, including two children, were hospitalized after the Greer crash.

Reports indicated a Tween Scene daycare bus collided with a Honda as it attempted to make a left turn onto Highway 14 from Highway 29.

The collision caused the driver of the Honda, as well as two out of the four kids that riding the bus at the time, to suffer non-life threatening injuries.

The unidentified motorist and two children were transported to an area hospital to be treated for their injuries, which did not appear to be severe.

While no citations were issued, nor were any expected in connection with the bus-car wreck, Greer Police contended the bus driver’s actions were indeed a factor in the collision.
