Copper Mountain, CO — A six-story fall from a window of an employee dorm, left a Copper Mountain resort worker dead Wednesday afternoon, July 27, 2011. The employee fell around 12:50 p.m., at The Edge employee housing, reported KMGH Denver.

According to police officials, Brandon White, 40, was drinking alcohol before he fell from the window of the housing dorm. There were no witnesses to the fall and White was alone at the time.

Police stated that foul play is not suspected, but the evidence is indicating that the fall was accidental.

Toxicology test results are pending to determine if he was under the influence of any substances at the time of his death. The results could take at least two weeks to complete.

White had reportedly been working at Copper Mountain for the last six weeks.

Investigations are ongoing.
