Los Angeles, CA — Lindsay Lohan is facing more legal trouble after a former Betty Ford Center employee filed a lawsuit against the actress after an alleged assault took place while Lohan stayed three months in treatment for drug and alcohol abuse, reported Reuters.

The plaintiff, Dawn Bradley claims that she was yelled at, had a phone thrown at her, was grabbed by her wrists that were then twisted when she asked Lohan to submit to a breathalyzer test in December.

The civil lawsuit assets that Bradley’s wrists sustained “significant injury,” as well as “post-traumatic stress syndrome” which has required several therapy sessions.

Bradley’s lawsuit is seeking $1 million in damages, in addition to medical expenses.

Riverside County prosecutors decided not to charge Lohan criminally over the assault allegations due to insufficient evidence. Bradley stated to investigators that she did not want to press charges against Lohan over the incident.
