Nebraska husband files lawsuit against syringe maker

San Francisco, CA (JusticeNewsFlash.com)–The Associated Press reported on Thursday, a grieving Nebraska man has filed a lawsuit in a U.S. District Court in Lincoln against three medical supply companies. Lawyers for Ralph Sell filed court documents, on Tuesday, naming Sierra Prefilled, B. Braun Medical Inc. and Baxter Healthcare Corp., for the wrongful death of his wife.

According to the plaintiff’s attorney, Alice Sell, the now deceased wife of Ralph Sell, was administered cancer treatment medication with a contaminated syringe in December 2007. The lawsuit alleges, the utilization of the pre-filled contaminated saline syringe, caused high blood pressure and sepsis, a bacterial infection attacking blood and tissues. The legal action states Alice Sell died from acute respiratory failure.
