600,000 Ohio through New York consumers lose electricity

Over 600,000 from Ohio to New York without power Thursday from severe weather.

New York, NY (JusticeNewsFlash.com)–Severe wind storms late Wednesday crippled hundreds of thousands U.S. residents leaving them without electricity in the middle of February. Residents in Ohio were hit the hardest with American Electric Power Company reporting 167,500 without electricity.

First Energy, the power company servicing Ohio, Pennsylvania and New Jersey had restored power to over 200,000 by Thursday afternoon but reported 165,000 remained in the cold. Residents in West Virginia, Maryland, Virginia and New York remained awaiting power restoration by electric company workers. Power company officials throughout all the states affected hope to have all residents electricity restored by Friday.
