Scott County, MN—A major accident injured seven people, one critically, on Sunday, September 12, 2010. The injurious crash occurred on Highway 169, near Jordan in Scott County around 5:30 p.m. as reported by the Star Tribune.

The Minnesota Highway Patrol said a car was headed northbound on Highway 169, when another car entered from the side of the highway and subsequently caused a collision.

The two cars involved in the wreck, a Ford Explorer and a Lexus, were destroyed in the crash, leaving seven people injured as well.

The driver of one the vehicles, Daniel Bravo, 47, of Maplewood, was rushed to an area hospital in critical condition. Four occupants of Bravo’s car, including two teens and a 5-year-old boy, were injured as well.

The driver of the other vehicle, a 77-year-old New Prague woman, and an 88-year-old female passenger were injured in the crash.

A full investigation is underway. The exact details surrounding the crash and how it exactly occurred are still unknown.
