New Zealand – Three students who were enrolled at Boston University but had been in New Zealand studying have been killed in an accident. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the students were traveling in a minivan when it crashed and subsequently rolled, killing the three students at the scene and injuring at least five others Saturday morning.

Boston University President Robert Brown is quoted by the AP as releasing the statement online, “This is a horrible tragedy… Our prayers go out to the students and their families. We will do all we can to provide comfort and assistance to those who have been injured, and to the families and friends of the victims. The university is mobilizing all of our resources to help our students and families deal with this tragedy.”
