At a family gathering in Marbella, a luxury tourist hotspot, an Englishman cut his throat by a broken bottle.
The 35-year-old man was taken to the hospital after being horribly attacked in a villa in the upscale neighbourhood of Nagueles.
He had to undergo “life-saving” surgery after a blood vessel injury.
The police have launched an investigation, but there is no update on the situation of the British.
It is unclear whether anyone was arrested after the attack occurred around 4 am on Sunday.
