San Diego (CNS)-Authorities said a white Ford SUV crashed into a scooter on Monday morning and then fled the scene, causing serious injuries to two people.
According to a duty commander of the San Diego Police Department, the crash occurred at 4:07 am on the market and 13th Street in downtown San Diego.
She said the medical staff took the victim to the district hospital.
According to sources at the scene, the front end of the SUV may have suffered some damage.
