The Miami-Dade Fire and Rescue Department said in a tweet earlier on Thursday that more than 80 fire and rescue units were at the scene of the collapse of some buildings in Miami.

Although there have been no confirmed death or injury reports so far, a picture posted on the Miami Beach Police Twitter account showed that in the dark, the balcony of the building left a mess of rubble and debris.

The cause of the collapse is unknown.
