This week, Esteban Okon signed a new contract with Alpine until 2024, confirming his future in Formula One.

So far this season, the French driver has scored 4 points and is optimistic about the team’s chances of promotion.

He said: “Since I joined the team, we have been making progress together, and my goal is to keep moving forward.

“We are facing huge challenges, especially the new regulations in 2022.

“I believe we can achieve our goals by working together and continuing the story. I often think back to the Sakhir Grand Prix on the podium last year, which inspired me to create more special memories like this.

“I’m really looking forward to the next chapter, but for now, we are very focused on this season and will play it when every game arrives.”
