60-year-old man was hit and killed by a car in El Cajon

Santiago (CNS)-Authorities publicly confirmed on Friday that a 60-year-old man was killed by a car in El Cajon.

According to the police and the San Diego County Forensic Examiner’s Office, George Flores of El Cajon was crossing the road in the 1900 block of East Avenue at around 10 p.m. when a Nissan Altima with no headlights drove east and hit him.

Paramedics took Flores to Sharp Memorial Hospital and was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

El Cajon police station lieutenant Jason Taub said that the driver remained at the scene of the accident and cooperated with investigators.
