Phoenix (AP)-Nearly twenty people who were trapped after a roller coaster stalled halfway through an Arizona amusement park are safe.

News reports and the Phoenix Fire Department said that Saturday’s ride at Castles N’Coasters in Phoenix was stuck and the riders were 20 feet (6 meters) above the ground.

Rescuers have been dispatched and were able to safely escort 22 people out of the plane.

There is no immediate report on the cause of the freezing of the Desert Storm roller coaster.
