Sonim Technologies announces another tablet order worth US$17 million

New orders and new rugged phones are expected to drive sequential growth in the fourth quarter

San Diego, California – (Newsfile Corp. – November 30, 2022) – Sonim Technologies (NASDAQ: SONM) today announced another customer order worth $17 million for tablet products designed by Sonim and assembled through an ODM relationship. Sonim expects to ship the latest order from Q4 through 2023, which will drive sequential revenue growth in Q3 2022.

The latest tablet order follows $13.9 million in tablet orders shipped in the third quarter. The revenue streams for new equipment illustrate Sonim’s strategy to expand into the broader consumer durables and industrial equipment market by leveraging its technical expertise, robust heritage and ODM capabilities.

Additionally, Sonim has announced the availability of its new 5G Android smartphone, the XP10, completing the refresh of its line of rugged mobile devices sold by North American Tier One carrier partners.
