SACRAMENTO, Calif. Oct. 27, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Judikat West, one of California’s leading providers of private dispute resolution services, has added Judge Emily E. Vasquez, formerly of the Sacramento County Superior Court, to its list of neutrals. Based in the Sacramento office, she serves as a mediator, arbitrator and private judge on matters statewide.

Judge Vasquez has more than 44 years of legal experience highlighted by 20 years on the bench of Sacramento County Superior Court. During her tenure, she directed a general litigation department that included criminal and civil trials, bank trials and preliminary hearings, and complex civil litigation. She has decided hundreds of cases involving a wide range of constitutional, statutory and other legal issues, including presiding judges in nearly 400 civil and criminal trials. Prior to her appointment in 2001, Judge Vasquez practiced with the non-profit legal services firm California Rural Legal Assistance and various government organizations including the Fair Employment and Housing Commission, the Public Employment Relations Board and the Sacramento County Public Defender.
