InWave brings Korean culture and entertainment to North Carolina with a world-renowned festival for the sixth time

RALEIGH, NC – October 10, 2022 – (

On November 19-20, 2022, non-profit organization InWave is hosting KoreaFest 2022 at the NC State Fairgrounds. The event will be held on November 19 from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and November 20 from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Exposition Center at 1025 Blue Ridge Rd., Raleigh, NC 27607. Extended from a single day to returning in person after the 2021 virtual experience, festival-goers will have the opportunity to surround themselves with food, dance, music and historical educational activities that showcase the majesty, tradition and beauty of Korean culture.

After the lockdown isolation, KoreaFest 2022 is trying to bring back the sense of community. Additionally, InWave strives to support the connection of the global community with North Carolina natives by connecting international Korean culture with the Korean diaspora community in Raleigh, North Carolina. InWave hosted the first Korean Festival in the state of North Carolina in February 2017 and has since successfully pursued its mission of Celebrating Unity Through Korean Culture. InWave’s goal is to share a love of all aspects of Korean culture with everyone in the local and global community. For those who may be hesitant because of unfamiliarity with the language or culture, InWave offers an opportunity to immerse, learn and connect with Korea. The Korean Wave has grown into a global phenomenon over the past 10 years, and thanks to community support, the festival has grown and will continue to encourage individuals from across the country to participate next month.
