Schuff Steel Company looks forward to its defense in court

PHOENIX, Sept. 30, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Schuff Steel Company, a subsidiary of DBM Global Inc, and the Phoenix-based leader in structural steel in the United States, is contesting EEOC’s numerous claims in the lawsuit filed week before United States District Court, District of Arizona. Schuff Steel has always been committed to a workplace free from discrimination and retaliation and takes every claim of suspected misconduct seriously. The Company will thoroughly investigate any claim of discrimination or retaliation, including the specific claim of the former Eloy plant employee referenced in the EEOC complaint. Contrary to EEOC’s recent allegations of widespread discrimination at its Eloy facility, the company found no evidence to support the original complaint, let alone a pattern of widespread discrimination. Schuff looks forward to finally defending himself against these allegations in court and is confident that once all the facts are presented, it will be determined that the company does not discriminate or retaliate against its employees and has lived up to its obligations as a good place to work.
