After the Washington Post reported, the documents were confiscated Donald Trump’s Residence included information about a foreign government’s nuclear capabilities, hedge fund manager Michael Berry has come to support the former president.
Burry said on Twitter that Trump has never been charged with a crime, although multiple reports over the years have said it is “imminent.”
“In spite of [attorney generals] specifically voted to bring Trump in spite of the intent of Congress to do the same and the FBI who have been after him for over 6 years, nada,” he claimed.
Burry asked, probably rhetorically, why would Trump be indicted this year “after decades of tricky business and politics?” before adding further – “Because the policy has gotten to a point where a judge will appoint a special master based on ‘swirling leaks’ and [the Department of Justice] responds with a leak about the contents of top-secret documents.”

According to the Washington Post report Andrew Weissmana former assistant US attorney said on Twitter that judges Aileen Canons decision Allows the appointment of a special master interferes with law enforcement’s ability to trace who had access to this information. He urged both criminal and national security officials to investigate the latest leak.
He called on the Justice Department to appeal the injunction and the special master’s test for executive privileges, with the appeal including an explanation of how the ruling affects both the national security review and the criminal process.
