Since the decision, the website domain has been transferred to Bang Energy and shut down, making the car wrapping scam through this website less likely. However, these criminals might try to trick the public into this scam through various websites and other means of communication. The illegal scam involved the development and registration of www.bangenergyadverts.coma website (which is no longer active) that mimicked Bang Energy’s intellectual property and trademarks to lure consumers into transferring money in hopes of receiving weekly payments to advertise Bang Energy on their personal vehicles with car wrapping materials .
