The account explains:

[The network is experiencing] This reduces the network capacity to thousands of transactions per second due to performance degradation due to the increase in highly computational transactions. This results in increased load and transaction processing times, as well as some failed transactions.

The report was published on January 6th at 16:11 UTC and at the time of writing, the issue has not been resolved. According to reports, the developers are working to address these issues and fix the problem.

Misfortunes never come singly

Blockchain then faces another problem On December 4th, the entire network went down and engineers had to restart it to work properly again. At the time, the network was suspended for about 5 hours, during which no transactions or blocks were published.

The project also faces other types of congestion issues as the launch of a particular project also congested the network, such as December 13 emission A project called Solchicks affects the stability of the blockchain.

Then again on January 4th, there was Report About Solana facing DDoS attacks through spam transactions. However, these reports were debunked by Solana co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko, who statement “Due to some congestion due to mis-metered transitions, some users experienced timeouts on their txs and had to retry.”

However, even with all these issues, Solana still surpassed its competitors in December in total deal count, register 45 billion transactions.
