Donald Trump calls cryptocurrencies “very dangerous”-warns of “explosions we have never seen before”-Bitcoin news selection

Former US President Donald Trump stated that cryptocurrency is “a very dangerous thing.” When commenting on cryptocurrencies, he warned that “an explosion will happen one day”, which will make “large technological explosions look like baby products”. He also talked about his new social media platform Truth Social, and his wife’s non-fungible token (NFT) business.

In an interview with Maria Bartiromo over the weekend, Donald Trump commented on cryptocurrencies, his wife’s non-fungible token (NFT) efforts, and his new social media platform Truth Social. Fox Business published an interview on Tuesday.

“What do you think about encryption?” Trump was asked. Bartiromo pointed out, “New York and Miami are indeed incorporating cryptocurrencies into their financial systems.”

The former president of the United States reiterated his anti-crypto stance: “Well, I never liked it because I like to own the U.S. dollar. I think the currency should be the U.S. dollar, so I’ve never been a big fan. But it’s spreading more and more. No one has taken any measures on this.”

He emphasized: “Look, I want a currency called the U.S. dollar,” he warned:

I don’t want to have all these other things, that might one day explode-the kind we have never seen before. This will make the big technology explosion look like a baby product. I think this is a very dangerous thing.

Trump has never been a fan of cryptocurrency. In August, he predicted that cryptocurrency is “a disaster Wait for it to happen. In June, he called Bitcoin scam This requires strict supervision.

Trump was also asked about the former first lady’s non-fungible token (NFT) efforts. Melania Trump announced last week that she is selling an NFT called “Melania’s Vision” on her newly launched NFT platform, which plans to release NFTs on a regular basis. “I am proud to announce my new NFT endeavor, which reflects my passion for art and will support my ongoing commitment to children through my Be Best program,” she said in a statement.

When Trump commented on his wife’s NFT plan, he said: “She will do well… She has a very good imagination. People like our former first lady, I can tell you. They really Love her, they love her.”

Regarding his social media platform Truth Social, he emphasized that “it will become so big.” Trump previously explained that the new platform will become an alternative to Silicon Valley Internet companies, which he said are conservative to him and others.
