Umbria Network, a cross-chain protocol with equity pools and decentralized exchanges (DEX), announced the launch of a new tool called “Connect Portal”.

This tool allows anyone to automatically connect the MetaMask wallet to any Ethereum style/EVM compatible chain almost immediately—including Polygon, Binance Smart Chain, Ethereum, Avalanche, etc. This eliminates the need to manually configure the RPC connection, which is a tedious and technically challenging process.

Anyone who needs to add a chain to their MetaMask quickly and easily can simply access: umbria.network/connection And select the network they want to connect to from the drop-down list. In addition, users can search by network name, local currency or RPC.

Connect Metamask to other EVM networks.

After making a selection, the MetaMask mode will automatically appear, and the user only needs to click “Approve” to complete the process. Connect Portal also provides useful information about the connection chain, such as chainID and a link to a local blockchain browser on the network.

Similarly, anyone can automatically connect their MetaMask wallet to the network by entering the URL in the browser, for example:

  • https://umbria.network/connect/bsc

Then, the web page detects which chain the user wants to connect to and completes all the work.

“This is another example of how Umbria makes it easier for anyone to use DeFi, NFT, and related technologies. The protocol is doing all the heavy lifting and removing complex technical processes, which is usually a barrier for many people to enter the field. Connect Portal This means that no one needs to manually set up a new chain in their MetaMask wallet again. This is also a good way to avoid being scammed.”
