The encryption-friendly travel website Travala has added support for Shiba inu cryptocurrency. SHIB can now be used to book more than 3 million travel products worldwide, including flights, hotels, and travel packages, on the site.
Travala adds support for Shiba Inu Crypto
Travel website Travala announced on Tuesday that it has added shiba inu cryptocurrency to its website as a payment method.
The company’s official account on Twitter congratulated shiba inu supporters on winning the token war launched a few days ago, and added that SHIB is now listed as a payment method on Travala.com and can be used to book more than 3 million worldwide Kind of tourism products.
Travala launched a “token war” between FLOKI and SHIB on December 2. The company explained that the cryptocurrency with the most votes in 72 hours “will be listed on Travala.com.” In addition, “all users who vote for any token will receive an AVA share of $15,000, which will be allocated based on the voting situation.”
In the end, SHIB was the clear winner in the voting.
“We are proud to be the leading cryptocurrency-friendly accommodation booking platform,” Travala’s website states. Currently, users can use 77 cryptocurrencies to make payments, including the meme cryptocurrency Dogecoin (DOG) and the newly listed SHIB.
The cryptocurrency-friendly travel website reported earlier this month that its total revenue in November was US$7.2 million, a year-on-year increase of 683%. In addition, 82% of all bookings in November were paid in cryptocurrency.
The adoption rate of shiba inu cryptocurrency has been steadily increasing. In November, the cryptocurrency exchange Kraken with Gemini Added support for SHIB. New egg Shiba inu payment will be accepted this month, and AMC Theater Commit to accept SHIB in the first quarter of next year.
