Karl Sebastian Greenwood (Karl Sebastian Greenwood) is one of the planners behind the Onecoin Pyramid Project, who recently used a smuggled cell phone to transfer at least $20 million in a U.S. prison. Lawyer for one of the victims of the plan Express.

Onecoin planners take advantage of the failure of regulators

Jonathan Levy, the lawyer representing the victims of the Onecoin scam, claimed that Karl Sebastian Greenwood, the co-planner of the Pyramid Project’s imprisonment, recently transferred at least $20 million. Said it was stolen from investors.

In a statement Released On November 24, 2021, Levy explained how Greenwood, currently detained at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan, could complete the transfer. He said Greenwood was helped by a network of lawyers and a smuggled mobile phone.

The lawyer also stated that the failure of the US Securities and Exchange Commission and other regulatory agencies to confiscate assets and the 230,000 bitcoin stolen from Onecoin helped Greenwood’s cause while making it more difficult for victims to recover their money. He explained:

I was shocked and frustrated and did not attempt to confiscate OneCoin assets. We know that large amounts of cash, real estate and cryptocurrency have been illegally acquired. Karl Sebastian Greenwood’s brazen behavior in the cell only confirms our most serious concern that billions of dollars of assets are placed in hope of irrecoverability, day after day.

Illegal cell phone

Using a large number of power of attorneys issued in Dubai, Ruja Ignatova, another major planner behind the Greenwood and Onecoin pyramid scheme, successfully unfrozen bank accounts holding hundreds of millions of dollars. Allegedly, Greenwood subsequently used the mobile phone now owned by the US law enforcement agency to execute the judgment remotely.

At the same time, Levy said that he hopes that the release of information about some of Greenwood’s actions in prison will force regulators in the United States, Bulgaria and Dubai to finally take action against the mastermind.
