Hex Trust, a Cryptocurrency custody provider, Today announced that it has joined the blockchain interoperability solution hashport as a validator. The hashport developed by Limechain and BCW Technologies aims to achieve greater interoperability across blockchain systems.

Currently, there are more than 100 active public blockchains on the market, each with unique applications, security models, consensus mechanisms, and design trade-offs.

Hashport aims to unify this increasingly fragmented landscape through public infrastructure tools, striking the right balance between security, speed, cost, and ease of use.The initial integration will focus on Ivy Hashgraph, Ethereum and Polygon, and other protocols to be added.

“Hashport brings the digital asset industry closer to the multi-chain market structure, aiming to release higher productivity and practicality in various ecosystems, and provide users with seamless access to the ever-increasing range of protocols and decentralized applications. In Hex Trust, we firmly believe that advocates of cross-chain connections can fully exploit the potential of multiple blockchain protocols and create an integrated framework that can be adjusted, upgraded, and supported infinite use cases.”
– Alessio Quaglini, CEO and co-founder of Hex Trust

In addition, there are many different bridge projects that provide users with more choices when transferring information between two or more blockchains. There are four main types of bridges, including asset-specific, chain-specific, application-specific, and general-purpose.

As a universal bridge designed to transmit information across multiple blockchain systems, the value of hashport to users is combined with each integration through network effects, because each additional connection to the project can access the entire ecosystem within the bridge.

“Hashport ushered in a new era of interoperability, enabling users to explore ever-expanding distributed networks, use cases, and opportunities that were previously unattainable. By combining the powerful features of the Hedera consensus service with hashport’s world-class validators, it creates An unparalleled level of functional trust.”
– Jesse Whiteside, Director of Business Development, Hashport
