MJBizCon 2021 Held from October 19th to 22nd with an estimated 20,000 to 30,000 attendees. Participants were asked to wear masks and maintain social distancing.

The event makes up for a lost year with a ton of well-curated content.

Show planners have designed four tracks to appeal to specific groups of people: growers, manufacturers, retailers and newcomers to the industry.

Industry Insights and Celebrity Sightings

The show’s lineup of speakers includes players from all sectors of the cannabis space.

Speakers include leadership from Arcview, Parent Company, Vicent Sederberg, Curaleaf, Hypur, Akerna, Global Cannabis Network Collective, American Cannabis Council, BIPOCann, Hawthorne, Wana Brands and more.

Several celebrities were spotted in the showroom, including RAW founder Josh Kesselman, National Cannabis Party co-founder Redman and comedian Jason Gunn — they are all in first day and two events.

Notable attendees over the past few years have included Kevin Smith, Gene Simmons and Kevin O’Leary, to name a few.

keynote speeches, collaborations

Friday’s closing keynote was Shark Tank’s Daymond John. FUBU founder and CEO provides inspiring insights on entrepreneurship, innovation and investment.

John has previously declined to speak at MJBizCon, but in 2021 those taboos appear to be fading, making room for more A-level attendees.

After the headlines, networking events like “Achieving Equity in Cannabis” and “Empowering Women in Cannabis” help people connect, whether they’re C-Suite executives or professionals new to the industry.

Conferences, Exhibitor Content and Forums

Both the Scientific Symposium and Financial Forum offer several popular sessions, including discussions on biosynthetic cannabinoid production and a review of the next wave of innovation and investment opportunities.

The Cannabis Industry Forum hosts much-needed conversations around cannabis and climate change, the changing regulatory landscape, and cultivation strategies for small amounts of cannabinoids.

Exhibitor content also offers some great insights on topics ranging from seed to sales technology, extraction filtering, distance selling and smart data for optimizing growth.

Cannabis & Tech Today Editor-in-Chief Charles Warner and friends attended an after-hours event.

For attendees who purchased a pass, many sessions will be available on-demand through the end of the year.

After-get off work entertainment

Of course, what’s happening at the convention center is only half the fun of attending MJBizCon Las Vegas.

there are countless after parties and events That happened after dark.

Grasslands: A Journalism-Minded Agency hosts high-level social gatherings that bring brands and journalists together for cocktails and conversations.

Farechild Events and SENSI host the Zodiac Party, an invitation-only outdoor social event.

The cannabis space has been lacking activity since the beginning of the pandemic.

It’s safe to say that MJBizCon 2021 has the live audience back on track, much to the delight of attendees and exhibitors alike.
