Jodison revealed MS disease in 2016

When Jodison accepted the Golden God Award in 2016, he revealed that he had a neuroimmune disease.

“At the end of my Slipknot career, I suffered from a terrible disease called Transverse Myelitis,” Jodison said.

“I lost my legs. I can’t play anymore. This is a form of multiple sclerosis, and I don’t want this to happen to my worst enemy.”

Jodison said he worked hard to recover from the diagnosis.

“I let myself stand up again, I let myself go back to the gym, I let myself go back to the fucking treatment, the fucking king defeated this sh-t.”

“If I can do it, you can do it. This is the most difficult thing I have ever done in my life. It is more important than anything fucking.”
