After a 31-year-old man was found dead, a woman in her 20s was charged with murder.
After an argument allegedly broke out at noon on Sunday, medical staff and police rushed to a home in Stapenhill, Burton upon Trent.
But despite their efforts, Oliver O’Toole was pronounced dead on the spot.
Today, the police said they had charged the death of 29-year-old Kayley Mahood.
The defendant appeared in the dock for a short time on Tuesday morning.
She was remanded in custody and will appear in the Stafford Criminal Court on Thursday.
Staffordshire Police officials said the victim’s family was supported by specially trained police officers.
The investigation into Mr. O’Toole’s death continues.
