52-year-old man was seriously injured in a scooter collision in San Diego

SANTIAGO (CNS)-Authorities said on Sunday that a 52-year-old man was seriously injured in a crash while riding a scooter near Qualcomm in San Diego.

According to a report by the San Diego Police Department, the man lost control and fell off the scooter at around 9pm on Saturday night when he was driving west on the 9900 block of Mission Road in San Diego.

Medical staff sent him to the district hospital for treatment of cerebral hemorrhage, lower skull fracture, and orbital and cheek bone fractures. His injuries are considered not life-threatening.
