SEPTA bus collided with pickup truck in North Philadelphia, injuring four people

Officials said that on Friday morning, a Route 47 bus collided with a pickup truck in North Philadelphia, and four SEPTA passengers were injured.

Two of the passengers were taken to Temple University Hospital without life threatening. SEPTA spokesperson John Golden told PhillyVoice.

The accident happened at 6 am on Fifth Street and Allegheny Avenue, 6ABC reportAfter the bus collided with the truck, it hit a telephone pole and stopped in the parking lot of a used car dealer.

Golden said that the cause of the crash is still under investigation.

“People who take that bus route may experience delays,” Golden said. “They should check our website for information about the detour.”
