SANDITON added six new actors to season 2, including Divergent actor Ben Lloyd-Hughes and Shadow and Bone actor Tom Weston-Jones.

Filming for the new season of the recently cancelled and renewed series based on Jane Austen’s unfinished novel of the same name has officially begun.

Sandyton’s official social media account shared this exciting news with enthusiastic fans, and their extensive program renewal activities helped the series gain another two seasons on Thursday.

In the title, these accounts are shared: “The shooting of Sandyton has officially begun!

“Ben Lloyd-Hughes, Tom Weston-Jones, @Rosiesgraham, Frank Blake, @Maxim_Ays and @vlavla joined the other star lineup of the best seaside resorts!”

Ben Lloyd-Hughes (Divergent) will play Alexander Colbourne, Tom Weston-Jones (Shadow and Bone) will play Colonel Francis Lennox, Rosie Graham (Outlander) will play Alison Heywood, and Maxim Ays will play Captain William Carter.

Frank Black (ordinary person) will join Captain Declan Fraser, and Alexander Flajos (Versailles, Outlander) will play Charles Lockhart in this period drama.
