The search for Cassandra Johnston, the missing Bucks County woman, stepped up after a visit in Philadelphia
The family of a missing 26-year-old Southampton woman has stepped up efforts to find her She did not go home after visiting Philadelphia on July 10.
Investigators said that Cassandra Johnston, a student at Temple University, appeared on 12th Street and Vine Street in the area for the last time after leaving her friend’s house in the city center at about 5:30 am The last time she was seen was driving a silver 2016 Ford Focus with the Pennsylvania registration number KSA8807.
Johnston is 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighs about 180 pounds, has brown hair and green eyes. She was wearing a white top and leopard skirt with sandals when she made her last appearance. Her car is a hatchback, with Temple University stickers on both sides of the license plate, and a white paw print sticker on the left rear window.
Family tell CBS 3 Johnston looked “optimistic” the night before she disappeared and did not share anything unusual. Lower Southampton police said that her mobile phone was found near her last known location, but she and her car could not be found.
The family launched a Facebook page to bring Casey home and created a GoFundMe This helps to set up a billboard on I-95 to increase people’s awareness of search.
