Sources told CBC News that the vote of no confidence in Anna M Paulo’s leadership of the Canadian Green Party has been cancelled.

The governing body of the Green Party, called the Federal Council, is scheduled to vote on this issue on Tuesday. But sources from multiple sources who were not authorized to speak publicly stated that it would not proceed.

The source said that the potential review of the membership of the Paul Green Party discussed by the committee last week will not start either.

The scheduled vote was triggered by the Federal Council’s call on Paul to deny comments made by her former advisers criticizing the Green Party’s position on Israel. If 75% of parliamentarians cast a vote of no confidence, the issue will be raised in front of all members of the Green Party in August.
