Darts legend Andy Fordham has passed away at the age of 59.

As a favorite of the British Darts Tour, the Vikings won the 2004 BDO World Darts Championship in their famous career.

The Bristol-born pitcher reached the BDO semifinals in 1995. Nine years later, after reversing and defeating Raymond van Barneveld in the semifinals, he finally won the trophy.

He defeated Mervyn King in the final and crowned his 1999 Masters title. This established a sky box office encounter with PDC champion Phil Taylor, Fordham retired midway through the game due to health problems.

Before solving health problems, Fordham weighed 31 stones and drank 25 bottles of beer every day.
