Trainee jockey Oliver Stammers (Oliver Stammers) has spoken publicly for the first time since his fiasco in Chester.

Sir Min’s trainer Ian Williams confirmed that his horse was in good condition after the fall.

Andrew Mullen, a colleague in the Stammers weighing room, said after the fall: “He is a little sore and feels unwell after taking morphine, but it is not serious at the moment. He asked me to tell everyone that he is okay.”
