Due to a foot injury, Phil Foden missed the England team in the Euro 2020 final against Italy tonight.

The owner of the Three Lions, Gareth Southgate, confirmed that the Manchester City wide players failed to recover from the blow suffered during Friday’s training.

Southgate said: “It’s very difficult, it won’t keep him outside for long.

“Unfortunately, he couldn’t operate normally yesterday.

“So it broke his heart and disappointed us.”
