Fans of RHOBH lashed out after Erika Jayne complained that she was “poor” and called her new $10,000 monthly apartment “small”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans lashed out at Erica Jayne after complaining that she was “poor.”
On Wednesday’s Bravo show, the 49-year-old also called her $10,000 monthly apartment “small.”
In the early days of the latest episode of RHOBH, Erika sat down with Kathy Hilton and Crystal Kung-Minkoff to discuss how she adjusted to life after breaking up with Tom Girardi.
After admitting her New apartment “It’s a mess,” Erica said, “I don’t need to bear what I left.”
In a confession, she said: “I entered this marriage when I was 27 years old, 20 years ago. Tom has everything. Everything has been arranged.
“I just plugged myself in there.
“Just because you have a lot of money doesn’t mean you have a lot of independence. If you are not responsible for your finances from the beginning, where are you going?”
The RHOBH star told the co-star: “For a long time, I lived with two butlers, which made it a performance venue… Now I am a butler.
“I wash the clothes myself.
“You should look at me. I like washing dishes. No housekeeper. No gardener.
“And I really value my privacy, so in some ways I kind of like it.
“And I can throw my things everywhere. It doesn’t matter. This is my place.”
As the scene aired, Bravo fans blasted Erika on Twitter for acting like her “poor man.”
One person wrote: “Erika can spend $10,000 a month in rent, but her mouth is very bad, acting as if she is Norma Raye? GTFOH.”
Except for a GIF with a woman saying “Oh my God, this is too difficult”, another added: “Erica doesn’t have a housekeeper or gardener…”
The third person interjected: “
Erika can hardly feel sorry for her. The mothers sounded hurt when they washed the dishes by themselves. Love her. I really do. “
Another fan wrote: “Erika’s apartment is $9,500 per month, with 3 bedrooms, a swimming pool, and custom furniture. She calls it her little house. I don’t feel sorry for her. Come on, she didn’t suffer By any means.”
