Tendermint, an open network infrastructure provider focused on the Cosmos blockchain ecosystem, today launched Emeris, a one-stop portal for all encrypted applications, no matter what blockchain they run on. As a non-custodial cross-chain DeFi portal, Emeris extends its product suite to other tools, including mobile apps and browser extension wallets.

Blockchain Agnostic

Emeris’ goal is to integrate decentralized applications (dApps) from different blockchains. In addition, it will provide access to various industry agreements, from loan and income agriculture to NFT markets, payment applications, data storage, and many other use cases.

Beta win

For the Beta release this month, Emeris will initially focus on cross-chain DeFi. Emeris will provide users with a dashboard showing a comprehensive view of their crypto assets across multiple Cosmos chains. Initially, the supported chains will include Cosmos Hub, Crypto.com, Akash Network, IrisNet, Persistence, Osmosis, Regen Network, and sentinelThe plan is to integrate new chains on a regular basis.

In addition to asset management functions, Emeris dashboard also has two flagship functions:

1. Gravity DEX integrationGravity DEX (the first supported dApp) is a cross-chain decentralized exchange protocol; it is scheduled to be launched on the Cosmos Hub on July 12,
2. Cross-blockchain asset transfer Use Cosmos’ Inter-blockchain communication (IBC) protocol. Emeris will be the first interface with intelligent IBC routing capabilities.

In the beta version, the Emeris team will introduce visual design improvements and new Cosmos chain integrations.In addition, Emeris will provide key performance indicators, mortgage functions, and increase support for multiple wallets (when the beta version is released, only Kepler wallet stand by).

Public Release

Emeris’s scheduled public release time is late September 2021. At this stage, Emeris will start with Ethereum and expand its support to chains outside the Cosmos ecosystem. This extension will follow the Gravity Bridge implementation, which is a bridge tool that allows tokens to flow freely between the Cosmos chain and Ethereum.In addition to supporting more chains; Emeris will provide access to the new DeFi protocol Gravity DEXFinally, the public release also marks the release of Emeris mobile wallet.
