First Lady Jill Biden will return to her Philadelphia roots this weekend and will participate in the Wawa Welcome America celebration, Event organizers announced on Friday.

She will participate in the Freedom Celebration with city officials in the Independence Hall from 10:30 am to 11:30 am on July 4th.

Mayor Jim Kenny will speak with a series of speakers at the free event.

The ceremony will include performances by the Philadelphia POPS band, R&B artist Saleka and The Voice champion Cam Anthony. Marley Dias will also read the abbreviated part of the Declaration of Independence.

The COVID-19 coalition of black doctors will be in Won the Magis Award The same is true at the ceremony.

Every Sunday night Wawa welcomes the American concert It opens at 7pm at the Mann Performing Arts Center in Fairmount Park, Philadelphia, starring Bebe Rexha, starring Flo Rida, Cam Anthony and Philadelphia POPS.

Tickets for the show are free, but must be booked in advance.

The famous fireworks display at the Philadelphia Museum of Art starts at 9:30 pm, but guests can gather at Benjamin Franklin Parkway at 8 pm
